About Encinitas Life

Encinitas Life is independently owned and operated by Kurt, who serves as publisher, editor, and staff writer.

Reporting and automation

Human-reported articles are checked against the named records and sources available for the story. Automated source briefs are labeled Encinitas Life Verified Brief, identify the original source, and contain no reporting beyond the attributed source summary.

Independence and funding

Advertising and sponsorship are kept separate from news decisions and labeled. The publication does not currently itemize outside grant, donor, or investor funding. Readers may direct funding questions to the publisher.
